a dream by the sea
tender staff lovely attention beautiful spa
the staff were tender, they welcomed me with open arms. attention to detail was lovely, a small treat left in my room after my spa visit. i found the spa so beautiful and it offered a sanctuary. the hotel was fine, it invited me to dream.
i found some issues in the communal areas. the absence of air conditioning in the lobby bar was noticeable, especially on the warmer days. i wanted just a little relief from the heat.

the hotel has a well equipped gym and golf courses were magnificent. organisation allowed a relaxed playing experience. the fitness room included treadmills and stationary bikes with modern equipment.

the concierge team provided a quick check in process. the staff consistently smiled and always assisted me. house keeping staff cleaned the rooms meticulously. the hotel staff were polite and attentive to needs.

nice highland getaway
warm welcome prosecco bottle free drinks food variety
The staff was cute. Edward at the front desk gave a warm welcome on arrival, and the team seemed genuinely happy to assist with any questions. i received a complimentary prosecco bottle in my room for my husband's birthday, it was very appreciated. a voucher for two free drinks added to the experience, and the food variety available at breakfast impressed me.
the menthol smell in the steam room was slightly too intense for my preference.

this place rocks!
prosecco bottle variety food free drink
The check-in with edward felt awesome. i got a complimentary prosecco bottle in my room, just for my husband's birthday. plus, i even got a voucher with two free drinks. the variety of breakfast food surprised me. Everything looked so good.
rooms are starting to look a little aged. it is decent in size. comfort is acceptable to me.

hotel is close to town, so it is easy to travel to other points of interest. it has beautiful grounds that look really well maintained, which makes walks very pleasant. guests can find a quiet, relaxed atmosphere here.

garden exit room allocation
I was a little disappointed with my room allocation. I booked a sea view, but I ended up facing the garden exit. It was not what I was expecting. Late check-out was a nice bonus though. The gym was surprisingly good for a hotel. Breakfast was acceptable.

slow check-in no hot water
The room was acceptable with standard amenities.
The check-in process was PAINFULLY slow. I waited almost 40 minutes. Once in the room, I discovered there was no hot water one morning. This greatly impacted my ability to prepare for my day.
